The scope of the project covers the rehabilitation of the electro-mechanical equipment and civil works of 38 Sewerage pumping stations of the Sanitary Engineering Operation and Maintenance Directorate.
The rehabilitation work shall include the removal of the existing mechanical and electrical equipment and related items of the Minor Sewerage Pumping Stations and shall be replaced with equipment whose ratings / capacities are similar or slightly higher than the existing submersible motor pump sets, electrical controllers, devices and piping system.
The Mechanical assets replaced/upgraded includes and not limited to Submersible Pump, GRP Pipes, GRP fittings, Pedestals, Guiderails, etc. The Civil works like Wet Well Benching, replacement of Manhole covers, GRP Lining and Laminations, painting, etc. Electrical works include the complete replacement of all armored cables, Motor Control Panel with Variable Frequency Drive, Junction Boxes and Glands. Instrumentation related works comprises of installation of Actuator for the penstocks and its limit/torque setting as per client requirements.
One Substation, and three Panel Rooms were constructed within the project scope as per EDD standards.
